Hi! I'm Breanna
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a wife and mum of two. I love chocolate, feeling the earth under my bare feet, and rocking out with friends - I’m the drummer! Before becoming a parent, my husband and I would spend weekends riding our motorbikes exploring the countryside. I used to work in a café and absolutely fell in love with making coffee (though for now, I’ll stick to sipping it while editing your photos). Long before all of that, I was a dancer for 12 years. Movement was my first love - one that took me to Sydney to live and even all the way to South Korea to perform. Life has shifted in many ways since then, but creativity has always stayed with me.
So here I am - capturing real stories, honest emotions, and all the moments you’ll want to remember.
THE STORY BEHIND WULLI WULLI PHOTOGRAPHY
You might be wondering about the name, so let me share the story behind it.
I am Indigenous, connected to the Wulli Wulli people, and my passion for photography began during my own maternity video-shoot. My husband, who is Filipino, and I decided to wear our traditional cultural clothing to honour both of our heritages. We captured the moment with our phones, and as I looked at the photos, I realised something profound - it wasn’t just the moment in the frame, but the rich history that led to it. The merging of our cultures, the generations before us, and the love we were creating in that instant. That depth, that connection, is what inspired me to pick up a camera.
It felt fitting to represent my journey through photography with a name that honours what sparked my passion - my culture. Wulli Wulli Photography is a tribute to my roots and the story that began when I first pressed the shutter.
One of my goals is to bring cultural photoshoots into the spotlight - to create space where your heritage, identity, and story can be seen, celebrated, and remembered. If that speaks to you, and you're looking to honour your roots through imagery, I would be truly honoured to be part of that journey.
That said - all stories are welcome here. Whether you're celebrating culture, love, family, motherhood, or simply this season of life, I’m here to capture it with care, authenticity, and heart.

Fact 1
I’ve actually spent a bit of time in front of the camera - I even walked the runway at Melbourne Fashion Week back in 2017. So if you're feeling a little camera-shy, don’t worry - I know what it’s like on both sides of the lens, and I’ve got you!

Fact 2
I have a big soft spot for writing. Whether it’s a heartfelt poem or the beginnings of a children’s book, I love getting lost in words. It’s another creative outlet for me - one that feels grounding, expressive, and just plain joyful. Storytelling has always been part of who I am, whether it's through a camera lens or the pages of a notebook.

Fact 3
I’m secretly obsessed with history and archaeology. I could spend hours watching documentaries about ancient ruins, buried treasures, and mind-blowing archaeological finds. If I weren’t a photographer, I think I’d be off somewhere brushing dirt off dinosaur bones or uncovering hidden temples.

Fact 4
My family and I are big-time campers. We try to head out at least twice a year, and while most people chase the sun, we’re all about the colder months - purely for those cosy campfire nights, layered socks, and marshmallows toasted under the stars. There’s just something about the stillness and simplicity that makes us feel right at home.
